The Cataphract is a Cavalry Unit. It becomes available in the Bronze Age.

It requires the following equipment for each unit: 1 Horse, 1 Spear, 1 Metal shields, 2 Scale armors, and 1 Light helmets.

Cataphracts are heavily armored horse and rider teams. The riders are equipped with a metal shield and spear. Cataphracts are an upgrade from Horsepigs, but require the more expensive Scale armors and Metal shields to recruit.

Requirements[]

Cataphracts require the Horseback riding Knowledge to recruit. The weapons and armor for the Cataphract require the Horseback riding, Spear, Metal shield, Helmet, and Scale armor knowledges.
