Clay is also used as a building material. Buildings such as Washhouse, the Library, Paper mill, Foundry and Market require a bit of clay in order to be constructed.
Clay is produces by the Clay exploitation.
In order to increase clay yield you can build the Claypit as an annex to the Clay exploitation.
