The Fertility of a tile dictates the output of Fields and Pastures.
A fertility of 3 is considered average.
Oceanic is remarkable for having spots of ground with fertility 4 and lots of fertility 3.
Arid and Desert is extremely remarkable for their up to 6 fertility near bodies of water, compensating for their otherwise lackluster fertility values.
