Marble is a rare resource that is only found in mediterranean climates. Like Stoneblocs, it requires a stonecutter's annex to gather. Unlike stoneblocks, marble can currently only be used to construct a late-game decorative plaza called a marble plaza.
30 Marble is also required to build the City Hall, a late-game administration center.
