Plate Armor is metal armor consisting of large solid plates, shaped and fitted to the wearer, and articulated to allow mobility. It is normally worn over a gambeson and chainmail. It offers great protection against damage of all kinds, but is very expensive to manufacture.
Plate armour is unlocked by the Plate armor knowledge, this knowledge comes around steel age.
To make one unit of plate armour you need 1 Leather and 4 Steel
It is a type of Resource used to train certain units.
